About Leopardstown Lions
Leopardstown Lions Club was formed in 1973 and since then have raised over €1 million and distributed it within our local community
We come together every second Monday at 8pm in Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, Killiney and every fourth Monday at 8pm in the Leopardstown Inn for about one hour. Our local territory is primarily Leopardstown/Sandyford but it extends to wherever we receive a request for assistance in a large radius around Leopardstown.
At our meeting we discuss organising events that will create revenue and we address different ways of spending that money we raise.
100% of the money raised at events is distributed after expenses.
Everything we do we do voluntarily.
The club is organised into those that have a flair for organising events and generating interest in them and those that prefer to seek out situations where the money raised can be best distributed.
We work closely with the local Gardai, school Principals and community leaders.
If you can give some of your time to join us we would be delighted to see you
Come along to one of our meetings and observe how the club operates
